Prep Tips: Homestyle Pinto Beans & Refried Beans
Our beans have so much flavor even people who think they do not like beans love our Homestyle Pinto Beans! In our family, we are not just content to use beans as a side dish. We feature them in main meals, dips and wonderful snacks.
Quick & Easy Suggestions
- If you happen to fry bacon, save the fat in the refrigerator and use in lieu of oil in refried instructions – it is wonderful!
- Beans will become thicker the longer they remain on the heat. If beans become too thick, add a little water and salt to taste.
